Project Description

This project is a new 49,354 SF, 3-story City Hall Annex, Retail Building and Public Plaza that will improve city service to the community and provide an improved and more efficient working environment for the city staff. The project is located on an approximate 1.1-acre site in historic downtown Waxahachie across South Rogers Street from the existing City Hall. The new annex will house Building and Community Services, Planning and Engineering, Utilities, Public Works, Assistant City Manager, Central Copy Room, Break Rooms, Conference Rooms, Central Cashier, and Public Toilet facilities.

 

VMG is providing Owner’s Representation and Project Management services that includes asbestos and lead abatement of the existing buildings, building and franchise utility demolition, design management, bidding, permitting, construction management, and managing furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF & E), and Low Voltage/IT procurement and installation.
