Project Description

The scope of work includes a new 54,990 sf City Hall with Community Library to improve city service to the community and provide an improved and more efficient working environment for the city staff. The project will be located in downtown Midlothian just off 8th Street between Avenue F and Avenue E. The new 76,890 sf Public Safety and Courts Building complex is planned to improve city service to the community and provide improved and more efficient working environment for city staff. The project will be located on Highway 67 just off 9th Street. The existing Public Safety and Courts Building is currently on this same site.

 

VMG is providing owner’s representation and project management services to manage the due diligence, real estate acquisition support, entitlements, design, bidding, permitting, franchise utility coordination, construction management, furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF & E), and Low Voltage/IT. VMG has teamed with Don Wertzberger (720 Design Police/Public Safety Specialist) for this project.
